DrawPoint
Where the best come to the surface.
DrawPoint is SATalent1st's mining and engineering division: certified, vetted specialists placed across Africa and into Australia, ready for site. Credentials, tickets and references are checked before a name reaches you, by people who came up through the operations. We know the difference between a CV and a person who can do the job safely, shift after shift.
The distinction
From mining into recruitment.
We did not come from recruitment into mining — we came from mining into recruitment. When we put a name forward, our own reputation is on it.
Certified & vetted
Right-to-work, competency and blasting certificates, medicals and inductions — verified before you see a name.
Domain-expert led
Consultants who have worked these operations and speak the language of the site, not the agency.
The Africa–Australia corridor
Placed where the work is — across African operations and into Australia, with the paperwork handled.
A short list, not a long one
A handful of names that can do the job — not thirty CVs to wade through.
An open shift bleeds production every day it sits empty.
Sectors
Six disciplines. One standard.
Specialists who have done the job, placed where the job is.
Mining
Underground and open-pit — operators to mine managers, drill and blast to processing.
Engineering & EPCM
Design, project and construction engineers for owners' teams and EPCM contractors.
Civils
The earthworks, structures and infrastructure that carry the operation.
Oil & Gas
Upstream and midstream specialists, onshore and offshore.
Energy & Renewables
The build-out of power — grid, solar, wind and storage.
Maritime Engineering
Ports, dredging and marine infrastructure.
The approach
Four steps to a name you can trust.

Common questions
Questions buyers ask.
Who pays the placement fee?
The employer pays, never the candidate. A specialist is never charged to register with DrawPoint, to be verified, or to be placed on site. That rule holds across every SATalent1st talent division and it does not change with the size of the mandate.
How do you verify a specialist before site?
Certifications, tickets and qualifications are checked and references spoken to before any name reaches you. The people running the review came up through the operations themselves, so a certificate is read against what the role actually asks on site, not simply ticked off a list.
Which regions does DrawPoint serve?
Across Africa, and along the Africa-to-Australia corridor that moves experienced people between the two mining economies. Placements are made where the work is, and mobility, permits and paperwork are handled as part of the placement rather than left with the candidate.
What disciplines do you place?
Mining and engineering specialists across the operating spine of a site: the technical, supervisory and management roles a mine cannot run without. Every mandate is scoped against the operation itself, because the same job title means different things at different mines.
