Accessibility statement
Our commitment to making this site usable for everyone.
Last updated: 1 July 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this site, and we treat accessibility as part of doing things properly.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across this website, and to go beyond it where we reasonably can.
What we’ve done
- Semantic, landmark-based structure with a single main heading per page and a working “skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard operability — including the navigation menus — with visible focus indicators.
- Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA for text, and a higher-contrast mode for people who prefer it.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting, so animations are removed when you ask for that.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, and clearly labelled forms with helpful error messages.
- Layouts that reflow and remain usable on small screens and at high zoom.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work. If you find a barrier we haven’t caught, we’d genuinely like to hear about it so we can fix it.
